I have had a C4Pro for almost a year. Very comfortable to wear, fits like a glove. However I commute on a V-Strom and with the taller windscreen I don't get as much airflow so I get a lot of condensation on the inside of the visor. On the RS it isn't a problem because I get much more airflow around the helmet. The SC1 I really really want to love but I don't. Buttons are impossible to use especially with winter gloves on. Phone calls are only in 1 ear, however music ect is in both. It just seems so clunky and unrefined. Being in the technology field I must say I am very disappointed and with what is capable in these days it is a really failure in my opinion. I will probably get a different unit and pull out all the built in stuff.

I should have said right of the switchgear. There's a narrow space there big enough for the remote.

I am going to pair both the RC3 and 4 this weekend and look at what works best for me when I cn next get out on the bike.

Had problelms with my connections after delivery of 1250rs. Basically I found that connecting bike to helmet and phone to bike is the best solution. Otherwise trying to pair the phone with the helmet directly causes conflicts and cant use controller wheel on handlebar to access music or contacts on phone.

Probably not ideal but it is usable.

hi,just sent an email of to Schuberth , had my c4 +sci advanced since Nov 2018. never has it sounded like it should do, Nighthawk (hello hello) sounds like its a Bang & Olufsen compaired to mine finely the right side speaker has gone off. upgrades & resets made no difference. where do we go from here is there still a thing as trading standards .

& yet there still selling them (sc1) on e bay, not cheaply either. me thinks if i dont get any satisfaction from schuberth i will try one of the cardo systems. any body recommend something else

I have been using mine for years. It works OK for me but I keep it nice and simple. I link the SC1 on my C4 to my Zumo 660. I have zero problems with volume despite wearing earplugs. I occasionally get distortion but never enough to compromise directions and it usually goes away.

I agree that the system is clunky and overpriced. I started from the proposition that Schuberth helmets suits my head shape. So first a C2 then C3 x 2 and now C4. Integrated comms make sense to me so I bought units lightly used on Ebay (Helmets are always new).

The price for what I get out of the system is outrageous but it works for me especially in a city where I want my eyes on the road not on a SatNav screen!

I ought to experiment more but stick with what works for me.

The potential for a system using the TFT and Wunderwheel plus a system integrated to a helmet is enormous but I am unlikely to like the price that BMW would charge for it!!!

i am glad it works for you Chris, Schuberth got back to me, asking me to take it back to my suppler. which was (Just Helmets .com) but i think they have stopped trading , so i have told this to Schuberth, i am now waiting for a rely

hi, i have been in contact with Tranam Schuberths inporters my helmet has been sent to them so they can access & hopefully improve it, thanks to Jordans motorbikes Leeda for sending it for me . ( just helmets stopped trading) you cannot send it to them only through a retailer. watch this space

UK importers for Schuberth, Chris who dealt with it told me he changed the wiring loom & the trim that holds the battery & Comms in place . it is working a lot better ie instructions from sat nav is much clearer. enough for what I require . so if you have a c4 with the sci system & are having problems . ask your retailer to send it to them to sort out
