The new format displays as light grey on white. It is very difficult to read on a Samsung Note 8. It may be ok on a desktop. It is very difficult to read now. Very off putting.
I would like to apologize to anyone I have NOT offended. Please be patient. I will get to you shortly.

On my iPhone, the new mobile version looks pretty good, much better than the previous one. But I'm not a fan of mobile applications on the mobile phone. In the forum of the forum provider there were already some same complaints from other admins, so I assume that the font color will be improved soon. In the administration I can switch off the mobile view completely, then the forum looks on mobile devices as on the PC. If that is desired by the majority of active users here, I can adjust it like this. What do you all mean ?

Zitat von Holger im Beitrag #10 It seems strange that forum administrators don't have more control to customise their own forum - I believe this is possible with most types of forum software, and some even let users do their own customisation with different "skins" , fonts, etc. The current mobile view is truly horrible, so I hope it gets changed soon. In the meantime, for anyone using the Chrome browser on Android it is fairly easy to change to the desktop view, though unfortunately my phone doesn't seem to remember that choice so I have to do it everytime. Just click the three dots menu symbol at the top right and tick the "Desktop site" box. If you are misguided enough to be using Apple then I don't know the answer!  |
