So now it started. We left Stockholm saturday an hour late and followed our plan to take the small roads as long as possible. That plan worked for 250 km, then we changed to "take the highway and step on it!" We had a ferry in Gothenburgh to catch. Worked out well. The next day (today, sunday) we did a repeat. Small roads for 250 km, then autobahn/highway 400 km to get to Hoek van Holland and next ferry to Harwich. Were a little hampered by my brother and his ZRX 1100. Hell, we are being overtaken by Harleys!!! Total shame...But we are happy campers. Tomorrow we will try to get to Liverpool in bank holliday traffic.... |
