Survey: Ride to Wales in May

In another thread it has been suggested we have a ride into Wales in Spring or Summer.

I am setting up a poll to see if we have enough interest for a ride on one of the Bank holiday weekends in May

Leominster is very close to the England/Wales border and conveniently located where the A49 and A44 intersect. Dom's Bike stop is right next to this junction. There is a petrol station either end of the Leominster bypass so it is easy to arrive with a full tank of fuel. This would be a typical 150 mile loop from Leominster, through the Elan Valley & Cambrian Mountains, returning through the Brecon Beacons to Abergavenny Bus Station, which is a popular biker meeting place. People could disperse from here back home or stay overnight and take a leisurely ride home on the Bank Holiday Monday.

Please choose which Sunday you would prefer from 5th May or or 26th May. If you are not able to come please select not for me rather than skew the results for others.

I think I am ok with either, but the 5th is the wifes b'day so would prefer the second option and might do a B&B and make a weekend of it

I'll close the survey and fix a date before the end of the month to give people enough time to book accommodation if they want to make a weekend of it. I'm meeting up with a few friends in Leominster on 30 March and staying in a hotel so will give a review of that in due course. Lots of small market towns along the Welsh Marches that are pleasant places to stay, so quite popular on bank holiday weekends.

Sorry, voted before reading the disclaimer, and not sure if I can make it, but it would be good to finally participate in an RS rideout. I haven't done one since getting the bike over 3.5 years ago!

it does not seem your vote will skew the vote - it does not look like being 52-48% so is not going to be contentious
