Hi.

Since a long time ago I've been thinking about how complicated is to use the OEM topcase in badly illuminated garages. I commute everyday from my home's parking to my work's and find it difficult to locate small things inside.
I also seem to remember from the old forum a post explaining how to install a small battery-powered led inside the top case, so that it is lit when you open it and off when you close it. I've been searching the forum for a while but didn't find anything so, here are the questions:

Had anyone had this small light installed in the - small - OEM topcase? and if so, Do you remember the part number or place to order it?

Just buy a cheap one from your local hardware store,stick it where you want it,switch it on when you need it,switch it off when you don't. It'll probably rush you a fiver.
