Hi guys, I'm fitting an Evotech front engine cove guard to my bike at the weekend and need to take the two bottom bolts out of the front engine cover to fit it. No the most difficult job I know but just wondered if BMW thread locks them in place or are they just normal Torx bolts? Also does anybody know what they should be torqued to when re-fitting?

Just wanted to check as my old R1200R needed most of the bolts heated with a hot air gun to release the factory threadlock.

Fitted an Evotech guard to my RS a few months ago & didn't notice any loctite on the threads, I didn't use a torque wrench, just guessed it

Assuming we're talking "Front crankcase cover bolts" here, it's 10 Nm according to my Haynes manual

KC100->CB100N->CB250RS--------->DL650AL2->R1200RS
