Akrapovic 'easy fix' baffle screw, 'Removing rear wheel'

You need to remove the exhaust to gert full access to remove the rear wheel....and last time I did that, it ws to fit new tyres prior to MOT and I also fitted the baffle back into the Akro. The original retention screw (even if it is Ti), is a pain to fit, made worse by the original access hole in the carbon end peice being slight off centre. So I replaced it with 40 mm Torx screw....lots easier, looks like this.

I tried to fit mine today and nothing fits through that hole that would reach that tiny nut for a $1450 Australian $ part it is very pore design a Torx or Allen screw would be the go I just did not have the wright length

Just stick small screw through a plastic bag, insert driver and screw it in.

If you’re not removing the can, you really don’t want to drop the screw inside during the unscrewing process.

I used a new allen head but the outer hole and the screw hole were still so far out of alignment that with a allen key I could still not get it in so I removed the baffle and angled the mounting screw slightly so it now angled towards the outer hole enough to insert with an allen key
