When I am retired then I also buy an old bmw to tinker.
Think it's fun to restore such an old baby.

Yes I had the same idea with an old 1977 R100/7, they really are lovely old bikes to work on. I decided to base mine on the colour scheme of the HP2 sport as I just love that blue, reminds me of the Lupin blue RS you know.

I just handed over my R100RS for a carb rebuild and tune up, I�m a bit nervous as I don�t like letting anyone else work on it, but i�ve No experience with carbs and I found a local guy � Flat Twins� who specialises in airheads.

Thank you Duds - all original, no respray�s etc. but honestly the photo�s somehow mask the odd chip and light scratches. Simply the patina of 36 years of riding pleasure.
