Zitat von zer0netgain im Beitrag #15Zitat von Ray B im Beitrag #14 Right. As this is a common problem, lots of videos and posts on this topic. Here's a post on the BMWMOA.org forum from a second rider who cut the tab. https://forums.bmwmoa.org/threads/wireless-gas-tank-cap-wont-open.105889/post-1340101 “A good man always knows his limitations.” |

Zitat von Mark im Beitrag #19 whilst the before and after photos are a) in the wrong order and b) flipped as mirror images the missing tang is pretty obvious to me. One of the metal parts is a T shape in the bottom photo and flat in the top photo

Zitat von Mark im Beitrag #19 When I click on the photos above to enlarge them, I see a blue circle around the locking tab. ( Righto. ".... circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was....")(Apologies - I can only say, the last time I posted the photos - maybe the MOA or Grumpy Goat's forum - they were larger and oriented correctly.) “A good man always knows his limitations.” |

Zitat von Ray B im Beitrag #21Zitat von Mark im Beitrag #19 pictures in the post edited so they show fullsize - the blue circle is very evident the default when posting is auto which usually generates a thumbnail. There is a drop down in the post to select fullsize.
