Last week I noticed that the lens (ie, the transparent plastic cover) on one of my rear indicators had dropped off somewhere so I needed to replace it. Of course, turns out they are unobtainable alone, and the best I could do was to buy a whole new indicator off ebay for £25. Ouch. Anyway, the ebay one has now arrived, and I'm trying to prise the lens off it in order to fit it to my bike. It's not coming off though, and I'm scared of breaking it. Wondering if it's sealed on at the factory and is never intended to be removed. Anyone know, or done this before?

Why not just install the whole new unit as it is? You need to remove the underside panel of the plate holder to access the connections (five screws, three underneath and two under the passenger seat). The right side light is connected under that panel. The left side light (for some unknown reason) is connected under the passenger seat. A couple of zipties and you're done.

You are correct. Just went through this procedure to install Weiser Tek turn signals on my '23. They are easily twice as bright as the stockers. Didn't realize that until I compared a riding buddy's Weisers with mine.
