I can't post links but there is a good interview with Hickman out right now too.... He crashed at the last isle of man and they told us he was fine. But it seems that is far from the truth, he was roughed up pretty good. Collarbone, many ribs, shoulder blade in three pieces and some moderate to severe nerve damage on the right side in his shoulder. He's trying to get back on the bikes right now. and has a number of muscles that aren't firing and starting to atrophy. He didn't say it but imo it will be a miracle if he can come back at the level he was riding at ...

It should come right up with a search for peter hickman interview. I was able to find it right away .... After reading the Dunlop interview I have more confidence that Hickman may recover. It seems Dunlop has been busted up just as bad it and he's still riding at the highest level. But several other riders have not been able to recover fully to riding at the highest level. Like say Hutchinson, Mcguinness, Martin and a few others. But at least we still have these guy's, as some of them have been taken out .....

I didn't realize Hickman actually ran his racing team, until I saw this video ... Haven't been watching Isle of Man races all my life but being in racing myself, we knew about the isle of man even back in the sixties. But since I've been watching onboard tube videos I haven't seen anyone as dominant as Hickman. IMO I think this is due to him sticking with his team instead of hoping around different teams and bikes, like say Dunlop did. Then BMW started sending a factory rep with Hickmans team and they also got a tire expert. The result of all this is all teams have much better tires to work with then say in 16 when mcguinness won the last time. If you watch the onboards the tires wire just not up to the task at that time. They have made huge improvements there .....
