Considering these for my 1250RS. I had the Q5s on my XR and liked them. The oem Michelin road 5's don't feel like they grip very well. Wondering if anyone here has gone to the Q5s and what their impressions are.

No experience with them, but I've got a set of Metzeler Roadtec 02 tires on my 1250RS and am finding them really(!) nice. A huge improvement over the Roadtec 01 and Roadtec 01SE. All my riding is mountain canyons, and the Roadtec 02 is fantastic there.

Just throwing that out there. What is pointing you toward the Q5S tire?

I'm on my second set of Road 6s (not OEM mounted), very satisfied with performance and longevity

Year-round riding enthusiast i.e. seasonal motorcycle popsicle.
