I wanted to let folks know about my very favorable experience with Gerbing. A couple years ago I bought a jacket liner, gloves, controller, and wiring harness. Friday, when I was riding home, I could feel something burning on the back of my right hand. When I got home and took the gloves off, I had a blister on the back of that hand. I thought that was really odd. I couldn't see anything in the glove. I took everything out to the bike, put the glove on and powered it up and down. Every time the power was on, I could feel the burning sensation.

This morning I sent them an email describing what happened. Margaret returned my email within an hour or so and asked me what kind of gloves I had. I supplied her as much information as I could get off the tag in the glove and sent her pictures. They are replacing the gloves. All they ask is I return the old ones once the new ones arrive. In a world where so many don't want to honor their warrantee, it was very refreshing. I just thought I'd pass that along. If you're considering heated gear, Gerbing did right by me.

That's a good story and refreshing to hear about companies that stand by their products. I assume they're paying for return shipping, too?

After the company changed hands a couple times I lost track of how the current owner was with customer service.
Where are the located now?

Bearr, I think I'm on the hook to pay shipping to return them. The new gloves are due to arrive in the mail today, according to USPS tracking. I guess I'll see then if they packed a prepaid return label with the gloves. I can't really object to paying the return postage. I'm sure that won't be too much.

Lee, the return address for the gloves is in Outlook, WA. I assume that's where they are now.

I did get the gloves today. They shipped from Kernersville, NC. Maybe they have an east and west coast site. I don't know. It looks like I'm on the hook for return postage but as I said, it's not that much and they took care of me very quickly without my providing a receipt or returning the defective gloves. I'm happy with the outcome and would certainly buy from them again.
