I had this problem for around 12 weeks.All other functions between I phone and TFT worked but not telephone directory.Went to BMW dealer for service no joy .Tried different friends phones (Android and iPhone) they connected? In the end I cleared TFT screen (reset) Then backed up iPhone to cloud and performed new phone reset.iPhone took about 30 mins to reload its self after which it now connects toTFT screen perfectly!! Don�t know if same would happen on Android? But iPhone users give it a go . Hope this helps some of you out there 👍👍
