Hi all, I just came across this new site. I was missing the old one which was instrumental in me getting a new R1200RS last year, the quick one with the red frame! Well done to those who have set it up.

Blue is obviously faster

I’m also really pleased the new site is up and running.

By the way I think it was finally declared as “an official fact” on old site that the “fast” blue and white one was indeed the fastest of all the colures and that’s why it had to be removed from the options for the 2018 line up.

Of course now the okd site has gone there will be people who will wish to dispute this fact 😬

Blue is scientifically proven as the fastest by Doppler shift. Just as the frequency of sound changes as a bike passes you, there is the same effect on colour, blue on approach turning red as it disappears into the distance. My bike looks blue on approach and all you see once it has passed you is the red tail light........case proven!!
