This could be of use to somebody out there so thought I would post.

The bike has run perfectly never missing a beat in 18000 miles. Last week it started and ran as normal until time to restart to return home and it stalled and would not tick over combined with poor running just off idle, further up the range it ran fine.
Checked web etc and decided dirty throttle body could be cause, as i proceeded to strip right hand side in order to clean and I noticed a lose vacuum hose.
On the right hand cylinder there are 2 hoses that enter the cylinder head on the rear side of the throttle body, on my 2017 a nylon braid cover is fitted to the outer most hose while the other adjacent to it inboard is exposed black rubber.

I had not noticed the lose hose during a normal visual check while looking for fault but once exposed and access gained following removal of black plastic trim side panels it became apparent is was just resting on top of its mounting stub pipe that forms part of cylinder head.
I suspect a blow back during start up caused it to come off it's mounting pipe as the inlet is down stream of the throttle butterfly and would be exposed to pressure in this instance.

NOTE there is 1 vacuum connection on left hand cylinder behind the throttle body and 2 on the right and no retaining clips fitted as security depends on flange ring on stub pipe connector, something that's easy to check once you have this information.

As a point of interest I was able to easily remove throttle bodies leaving upper air box tube in place just removing spring clip at top and bottom of body then removing assembly enough to tip on side to gain access to portion below butterfly for cleaning with carburetor (remember them? ) cleaner on a soft tooth brush. CAREFUL do not allow the cleaner to run down the spindle in to the electronic actuation side as this can lead to the throttle motor playing up
direct the spray in to brush and side walls and on to carbon build up and soak up with tissue. All this can be performed without the need to disconnect the electrical feed plug.
Bike back to running as sweet as once again.
