Cymarc TFT Anti-theft bracket, with sun shade installed (with Moto-Mate GPS relocation)

I saw this discussed on the theft thread that the product was in dev, but I saw it hit Nippy Normans newsletter and gave it a go. I didn't realize I had ordered the one with the sun shade til after I hit buy or I might have skipped it to save the money and install hassle. But...

It fits snugly and just barely squeezes in behind the Moto-Mate GPS (@Fugly) relocation kit. And the combination of the two I suspect will provide a ton of shade for the TFT (not that I think it needs it by why not).

I had to completely remove the Moto-mate. The "clip" on Cymarc that goves over the top of TFT requires a good and slightly breathtaking shove to settle right onto the TFT. To get the MM back on, it requires a bit of encouragement towards the TFT, but I think it's all settle out ok. Cymart and MM touch and will likely rub their pretty powder coated finishes, but adds some security and peace of mind.
Overall ~20 minute job.

I’m expecting delivery of the (marginally cheaper) Cymarc bracket without the sunshade tomorrow. I will be riding into London when normal-ish life resumes in due course and figured if the story of TFT theft had made it into Ride magazine it was probably “a thing”, at least in the den of iniquity that is our capital (and I’m not only referring to the Houses of Parliament here). That and the fact that thieving scrotes were on my mind as my brother’s just had his Honda CB1000R stolen from outside his house in Wandsworth (which was my former bike before I got my RS - so I shared his pain.)

I also have the Moto-Mate so I’ll post a couple of pics when installed by way of comparison unless someone beats me to it.
