Is this an option for any threads? Ive never been on a forum before that you couldnt click something that would bring you to the first unread post. I have to keep scrolling to find where I left off now.

If you click on the number after the forward slash, it will take you to the newest post.

Or you can click on the "other" drop down and then select "latest posts"

click "latest posts" in the top right corner

this presents a screen with most recent posts at the top - threads that are new are identified as NEW in the middle column. Threads with some new posts have 2 numbers in this middle column e.g. 21/2 - this means 21 posts with 2 you have yet to read. Click on the 2 and you are taken to the new posts - you will also note that threads with new posts are identified by the headlamps glowing yellow

If there are no new posts in a thread then there is just a single number in the middle column.

My method to read new posts is to hold the mouse pointer over the lower number, right click and select open post in new tab. I then read through the tabs one by one, adding comments as I go along

Ok, I think I figured it out. You cant do it from within the thread itself, you have to do it from the forum showing all the threads.
