I checked the Facebook page one last time and found the site address for this new/old forum. I'm back! I have changed my username, but am still using the BMW serif emblem as my avatar.

I'm a retired government worker living on a small farm in Louisiana, USA (about an hour north of New Orleans) I've been riding for about 49 years and have six bikes in and around the shop. My '16 RS (in grey/black) is my second BMW...the first was a 1960 R60. I use my bikes for running errands, taking mental health rides, and a couple of tours a year. I am completely thrilled by my RS and find it to be so good that it has changed my moto-paradigm!

Glad to see so many former forum members have found their way here and I look forward to getting to know folks I don't know yet.
