I'm 5"10 cm and chest size 44' I have two Rukka jackets, an Armaxis and an Airall both are 54, a size below the Rukka size guide. I bought the Armaxis in person first and the Airall remotely because the UK didn't import the white version of the Airall. Measure your chest size.

Thanks Bill - helpful info! I'm a 44" chest too in fact; however looking at your avatar I'm afraid I'm more challenged in the beer gut department than you! At my widest - around my belly button, which seems to correspond to dimension "B" on Rukka's sizing guide - it's 41"

If you haven't totally committed yet I can do you a BMW Venting jacket size 56 in perfect condition - £75 +P&P, if that would be of interest. Suitable for temperatures not below 25C unless you want to really chill

Unfortunately they are NLA (no longer available) but I champion Vanson Cordura riding jackets. There are 2 styles. Both feature zip-down vents.
Can still find 'em on EBay used but be advised they can sometimes shrink awkwardly if machine washed and especially machine dried.
American quality made, not junk from China, India or Vietnam.

Somewhat embarrassed to admit this but I have a collection of 10, assorted colors of both styles, some from 20 years ago of a smaller size that no longer fits.

I also have a Vanson mesh type textile jacket but found it to be too large and have never worn it.

I just bought the BMW Race Flow jacket with protection (incl. back).
Perfect when it's hot outside.
Very comfy.

Just saw this thread title pop up on under 'recent posts' and thought, 'oh, I can chime in there' - only to find that it was a thread I myself started this time last year!

Oh well - at least I can now strongly recommend to the OP that he buys a Rukka StretchAir (aka Forsair Pro) - a brilliant jacket!

Just ordered Rukka Stretch air for myself as well. Tried on the Klim Induction, nice jacket, but it hangs on you like chain mail. An alternative would be the Klim Marakesh, very similar material to the Stretch air with a more casual fit.

I live in Marbella so vented jackets are a must for many months of the year.

I have this Bering jacket which I have owned for what must be 13 years, and it is still like new. Quality is amazing and it is vented all around. I cannot live without is.
