I just noticed that newer maps are available for download today for Australia and NZ.

Annoyingly, many of the incorrect points of interest are still present, despite being corrected in Here Maps (the source I believe) and some being reported to Garmin directly. At least the roads appear to be correct.

In the US Garmin uses Navteg for maps.
The couple times I reported a map problem I contacted Navteg.
