Current owner of an F800 ST, looking to move up to an R1250 RS as soon as BMW brings them to the US. Oh, and as soon as I sell my house (soon). I do long trips -- up to 6k miles -- and look forward to learning about the RS here. I live on Cape Cod but prefer riding in the NC & TN mountains.

Welcome to the site Dan.
It's starting to look like you will have to wait awhile for the R1250RS.
Some of the UK members who ordered 2019 RSs have been told they will not arrive until September.

Thanks Lee. Bad news, but it's not like it's a hardship to keep riding the F 800 ST until BMW gets the assembly line moving.

My salesman got back to me, saying his best info is June arrival in the US.

The RS will not go into manufacture until September, they retool during summer break, first out of factory will be early October.

Then a slow boat trip.
