Been for the last 10 years, first 7 yrs my R90S . Looking forward to next year on my new r1250rs.
Usually Hull to Rotterdam and stop overnight halfway down then arrive in Garmisch around Friday dinner.
Usual apartment booked in town but cheap camping available on site. The town gets really busy this weekend and impossible to book rooms.
Loads of events, test rides in great scenery and lots of rock music at night. A truly great event.

Further to my previous post, the quickest I've done Rotterdam to Garmisch (540 miles) is 10 hours on my R90S, nowadays I tend to break it up and stop short of Garmisch.
