Mine do like this :

If i use the kill switch instead of the main key i will often give ASC warning (yellow triangle) And the ASC is disconnected. It Dissapears if i turn of bike on the mainkey and wait 30 sec. and start again.

If i turn the main key and press the start button very quickly, before the sefldiagnosis is done (speedo nedle goes up and down) i get both ASC and ABS warning, and both features are disabled, until i turn of the bike on the main key, wait 30 sec. and wait with starting the motor until the self diagnosis is done.

I have the newest software as i just updated to ABS-PRO.

I think this is realy shit. In my BMW car i newer get any warning no matter how i start or stop the car.

Has anyone seen the same fault ? it could be nice if you guys would try to stop and start your bikes like i describe to see how your bike reacts :-)

never seen the stop switch thing but I have keyless. In the handover from the sales chap I was told, "only use the stop button for emergencies." I have consistently ignored this advice and never had a problem. I often turn off the bike if waiting at a junction with a long traffic light cycle using the stop switch, especially when I was in Spain at 35C to save being blasted by hot air from the fan.

I suspect the sales person knew of some potential glitch that is perhaps only seen by riders of keyed bikes? Or maybe random ECU errors due to some inconsistency - just sourcing a "compatible" component in the ECU from a different maker can upset an ECU if the design is not robust (I have experience of this as a technician over 15 years of electronic manufacturing for a multi-national)?

I have not tried to start the bike before the self test has ended. Why would you do this? Expecting a positive outcome is counter-intuitive.

I think it is normal when these warning lights go on when you switch on the ignition. They then should then go of when you start the engine, .

Exactly. Mine come on and stay on until I ride off then they go off. On my bike it has nothing to do with keyless or the kill switch.
