Bike is in for 3 year service and was advised there is a recall on clutch master cylinder. Funnily had noticed bite point was near end of travel lately, but staff couldn't say whether this was the reason for the recall. Any body else had this? Pick bike up tomorrow so will see if there is any difference.

We had the clutch slave cylinder recall done on both bikes in 2016 and it did not change the clutch feel.
A year after that this part failed on Debbie's bike during a trip and the part was replaced again.

I had my RS serviced by my dealer last Saturday. No mention of any recalls.

12K service on mine about 2 weeks ago, also no mention of recalls or specific clutch issues.

When I was inquiring about the service/recall history on my '16 RS (6k miles at time of purchase), the dealer informed me the clutch master cylinder had been replaced as part of a recall campaign. No issues since I took ownership (14k miles now)

It was an early model issue. I don't know if it was unique to the RS. I was told mine was replaced, but I could not find any difference.
Best guess, the was some fault letting the slave cylinder bleed down. That would lead to partial disengagement of the clutch when you wanted full disengagement mn

Picked up the bike, then have been away on hols. Was the slave and was advised it was to do with the lip holding in the o-ring. No effect on the lever effect. The dealer refuses to do the mod suggested on the GSer's forum as bike has an automatic adjusting clutch so there's no need. So all's well there then.

Hi, just asking, is the bite point on the leaver still the same? Does it grab almost all the way out? Some of the other guys say the clutch bites with the leaver almost all the way out.
