Hello, like I said in my first post to this forum I'm trying the put my RS after a little crash in West EU. There are four of those plugs in the main cable tunnel that goes on the right side of the bike. Two of them go to the INJECTORS (one on the left cylinder, and one on the right), the third one goes to AIRBOX (it is plugged on the bottom right side). The mystery is with the fourth plug??? I found a place on the frame but in my mechanical experience I havn't seen that kind of plug without any protection (water, mud). I have a lot of photos if anyone needs. I'm also adding a photo of electrical scheme for the right side of the bike |

Do you think it might be a blue / green wire with the yellow/violet. This would be plug X9572 for the purge valve Y9572 for the charcoal canister when fitted. |

Yes it is possible that the cable is blue/green. I will check on friday to be sure but from the photo it looks like your scheme is correct. As we speak I also have a question about one mysterious thing on the bike. There is a hose coming out from the fuel tank (probably venting from the tank). I tryied to find a way to run the hose (two actually) on the bike but no luck, could you help me with this problem, a photo would be nice |

So from the images on the service CD it looks like they go to the bracket by the L/H tank mount and then follow the frame tube down to the clip by the L/H centre stand pivot (last photo) |

Many thanks, I found something to, but the pics You sent are just what I needed. Really appreciate your help, now I can mount the hoses in the right clamps. The thing with the unplugged plug doese not give me a peace. My dealer told me that by my VIN I should have the charocal valve installed on my bike... I'm waiting for some small parts to come on Monday. What do You use to read/delete errors? |
