I wonder how the R1200RS is sold in the various countries. And then I'm not talking about the numbers or the various extra's, but simply about how it is defined in the local market. I'm asking because in the various posts I read about a SE version. A what?
The writers fellow countryman might know what it is about, the other guys like myself, have to guess.

For example:
Looking at the UK, they seem to have a:
R1200RS
R1200RS Sport in Light grey or Bronze
R1200 Sport SE in Light grey or Bronze
and the differences between the latter 2 is only about the options per model.

Here in The Netherlands we have a:
R1200RS
R1200RS Sport
R1200RS Exclusive
whereby the Sport is only available in the light grey/red frame version and the Frozen Bronze is the Exclusive. So here it is based open the color scheme including gold calipers and spoiler on both. And one can order the all black version with all available extra's except the spoiler and gold calipers (Which van be bought separately).

So if I was living in the UK, I would have owned a Sport SE in stead of my Dutch "Exclusive".

Any more types I'm don't know about?

A 2018 "Sport Style" for her and a 2018 "Exclusive Style" for him.

In Sweden BMW sell the RS in the following configurations:
Color option:
1 - Black storm metallic (no extra cost)
2 - Light grey metallic / Magellan grey metallic matt (extra cost)
3 - Frozen bronze metallic / Black storm metallic (extra cost)

Package options:
1 - Comfort package (Chrome exhaust, Heated grips and RDC)
2 - Dynamic package (ABS Pro, Daytime riding light, LED Turn signals and Riding modes Pro)
3 - Touring package (Case holders, Cruise control, Dynamic ESA, Luggage grid, Main Stand, On-Board computer Pro and Preparation for GPS)

Individual options:
Most of the package options can be bought individually, plus a few extra like; keyless ride, Alarm system, Gear shift assistent Pro, Low or Sport seats,

The US seems to mimic the Swedish offerings. However, the daytime running light between the headlights is omitted because of US regulations.

I would say the same applies here in Sweden, mine is only missing the Keyless Ride.

My dealer tells me that if someone wants an RS that is not fully optioned, they will have to special order it and it could take up to 6 months to arrive. So most people, including me, sucked up the full factory optioned version. I can't recall that the U.S. models have any sort of different names, though. An RS is just an RS in the US.
