The temperature this morning had climbed sufficiently for me to venture out into the garage and dig out the RS from under its winter duvet. I checked and inflated the tyres, which had dropped by a few psi, and plugged in the battery charger to waken any dormant electrons. She started first time, no issues with stagnant fuel fortunately. The weather still looked reasonable so I got geared up and went out for short ride. Everything worked perfectly and I enjoyed a pleasant bimble over the Wolds. Whilst everything was rosy on the bike front I cannot say the same for the condition of the roads, which have suffered over the winter months. I do not know if the Highways Authority have either the resources or the manpower to do much. The problem is vast and continuous. Spent the remainder of the morning washing down the bike and then back under the duvet until the next time.
