Hi all, I am happy to say I will be a new RS owner soon, 8th Nov and looking forward to it
Coming off a Triumph Tiger 900 GT Low so hoping the R 1250RS isn't too heavy for me as I am not a string as I once was which wasn't even that strong in my youth

The bike s coming with the Low seat at 790 mm and I am not quite flat footed
Wondering if the 760 mm would be a better solution but worried it may have no padding left or a bit cramped

We will see how it goes

Enjoy your new bike, I came from an r1200rt with low seat to an r1250rs again with the 760 low seat, and although the weight reduction is not as much as I was really looking for, for similar reasons to you, getting older it low centre of gravity and more compact design makes it much easy to move around and it fantastic to ride, only thing I am still experimenting with is wind noise from the screen, but a new helmet helped a lot, but a bit more fine tuning to do as and when.
Certainly the best bike I have had so far, although don’t think I’ll ever use its full potential - power or handling the low down torque makes for an easy ride

Hi, I have just bought a new 1250 rs. I am 5ft8, not young, with the 820mm seat height. No issues with that. It's pretty heavy, and I am no weightlifter...but it's manageable.
