Hi, quick questions for long term RS owners how is your TFT holding up with riding, washing, dust etc.?

I don't intend to take a sandpaper to it to remove bugs or splats or ice cream (funny story involving a little kid overexcited to check out a big red sportsbike) and wouldn't really go out of my way to add the extra cover over it unless the screen tends to develop swirls from occasional wiping with usual microfibre cloths or armorall windscreen wipes. My Samsung gorilla glass thing lasted 4 years with no damage and far more direct use/contact.

Also if someone did install it any preferences between anti-glare or 'ultra'-translucent ones? I can't really figure out the difference from the marketing-speak or pictures.

I can't say I see a need for a TFT screen protector in my 2 years and 10k miles. I have found the TFT secure device with sunshade helps a tad with glare.
