Hello everybody. I�ve been the proud owner of an R1200RS for about a month now. I�m 58, and have been riding for the last 40 of those years. I�ve tried inline fours, parallel twins, V twins and V fours, this is my first boxer, and I couldn�t be more pleased with it. I�m looking forward to finding out from you experts what to watch out for. I�m based in the North West of England on the Wirral peninsula, and I�m up for ride outs, whether local or further afield.

I also bought my first boxer in August. Not too far from you - I�m over near Stockport, south of Manchester. Also loving my 1200RS.

Welcome! I am ahead of you by 14 months. My 1250RS is my first boxer and I have clocked up 9k miles in that time.

I am based in Bolton and so likewise not far from you.
