I took the RS out for a jaunt today. Temperatures returning to near zero meant that I pressed on at times instead of stopping to take photo's.

Broughton in Furness, Birker Fell, Boot, Hardknott pass (30% gradient with severely damaged tarmac), Wrynose pass, Langdale pass, Chapel Stile, Hawkshead for lunch, Coniston, Ambleside, The Struggle, Kirkstone pass and home.

It really has dropped cold the last few days. So deceptive though when I look out of my kitchen window it looks like a lovely summer day. Then someone walks past in a winter coat and a woolly hat.😁
