Thanks, I wanted to check as I have friends in the Sauerland, and yes the nature and scenary is really great (not to mention the beer and the local hospitality) but I seem to find it more enjoayable in the winter but riding isn't so good :-)

Once the Government release us things will not be back to normal. The health risk will still be there for sometime afterwards especially for people in their mid seventies like me. My first trips out will be circular day rides avoiding café stops. A spokesperson did say last week that cafes, bars etc where people congregate could be the last businesses to be opened, so perhaps I will not have a say in whether I avoid cafes. One full tank will take me 200 to 230 miles. Something to eat and drink in the top box and I can ‘water the flowers’ at a quiet spot. After several weeks I will see how things are progressing but do not anticipate hotel trip until the Autumn.
