Is there only one auxiliary power socket on the RS? It seems like there should be one up front for the pilot?

Yes. There is only 1 built in.

Some people have located a spare "hot feed". I think there is one which is used by the Nav on the right, and there may be one that is used by Aux. Driving Lights on the Left. Personally, I chose to use an independent fused circuit that I use for my upgraded horns and also to provide power to an in-dash USB socket.

Sadly, there only is the one from the factory. Some of us have remedied that with something like this:

I zip tied a power outlet pigtail to the structure inside the right front fairing. A USB charger plugged into that feeds into the tank bag to charge a power block or the phone directly. The power block charges the Sena and the phone as required at the end of the day. Works well touring/camping.

Where did you grab the power from? Sat Nav or run a new hot?

I ran a new hot from a FuzeBlok and have it on a switched circuit. So I only have power to the outlets when the bike is turned on (or engine running).
