New Member Introductions » Hi from the North of Scotland

Just signed up and wanted to say hi. Had a lovely new grey RS delivered yesterday, an early Christmas prezzie just for me🙂 I've not had a chance to take her for a spin yet as the roads were like a skating rink yesterday and covered in salt. Never mind won't be long till the weather starts to pick up again and I can rack up some miles. Here's a pic of my new toy.

Thanks for the welcome guys, looking forward to taking part in the forum as it looks like a good one from what I've seen so far.

As for the paint colour, I appreciate it might be a little heavier but will try my best to ride it harder to make up for it. I love this colour scheme but if I was being honest I still like the Lupin Blue and white combo best. Alas no new ones available so had to be the heavy red frame model. Still pretty exclusive though as there were only two grey ones left but a shed load of black and bronze/black ones left when I ordered this mine.

T’is indeed chilly at the moment. Today we enjoyed a beautiful blue sky, but was sub-zero.

But hey, the days are getting longer and we’ll soon be out enjoying the best roads in the land.

How far “North”?

I'm in Alness, twenty five miles North of Inverness. Lovely clear day today but chilly and they've been dumping tons of that horrible corrosive sludge they use these days on the roads. New bike will be getting a real heavy coat of ACF50 applied before venturing out!
